I phoned round a number of hydrotherapy places when I found at my cockapoo had luxating patella’s on both back legs and might possibly need surgery. This turned out to be with Elise who was also really lovely and knowledgeable and took me through things step by step ( I was quite anxious!) we started on the treadmill and have since advanced to the pool. In a short space of time my cockapoo has gone from strength to strength - with the vet confirming that he is happy Bertie will not need surgery- such a relief. We continue to go on a less regular basis as part of his maintain programme and he just love it! I booked him in on his birthday last year and valentines this year! A wonderful bunch of people with outstanding service. We think they are great! Thank you

We have been to another hydrotherapy centre in the past, they had the treadmill in water tank but Bluestone also have a pool which we felt given Willow was a keen swimmer whenever near water would really help. Nicki and all the team have been fantastic, willow has gained muscle mass in back legs, lost some much needed weight and is happier and healthier, she absolutely loves her sessions. Over the time we have reduced from weekly, to fornightly and now monthly as maintenance, fun and keeping an eye on her movement, joints and muscles. She's enjoying walks more and is running about much more comfortably with no signs of after walk stress or pain. Thank you Bluestone, Willow is a much happier dog for your treatment.

The team at Bluestone are fabulous. When we had our first visit and assessment for our dog staff were great, answered all our questions about hydrotherapy and gave info and advice about best exercise for our dog and keeping him healthy and active. Our dog was nervous at first but the staff are patient and friendly he soon relaxed. He now really enjoys his sessions from what we can tell.

My dog Helly was referred to Bluestone Hydrotherapy by Southern Counties Veterinary Specialist’s in Ringwood following TPLO cruciate ligament surgery on her right hind. Helly was assessed and given exercises by the head physiotherapist at SCV who suggested Bluestone would meet Hellys needs and was closer to me (in Andover). It is a quick easy journey from Andover taking me 15 mins with ample parking. After Helly’s recovery treatment plan was completed I continued to take her purely for maintenance and monitoring....

There is now physio, massage and laser available but as yet we haven’t used these services but may in the future. I have no hesitation in recommending Bluestone!
