I wish everyone wanting a dog would consider getting a rescue, and Corran Kennels is a fantastic place to go. My heart was broken when my 14yo Collie Lucy, adopted from Assisi, had to leave this world last week. But Corran Kennels had the perfect healer. Sam, a 10mth old Collie, a goofy, happy, clever big bundle of joy and irrepressible love. So keen to learn, makes me laugh a hundred times a day and I don't know how I could ever have stopped crying about Lucy if I hadn't found Sam at Corran. I am forever grateful...

So keen to learn, makes me laugh a hundred times a day and I don't know how I could ever have stopped crying about Lucy if I hadn't found Sam at Corran. I am forever grateful to them, and George. I needed Sam and he needed me, thank you for bringing us together ❤🐺 Almost Home have a Collie called Lottie, who I would have rehomed, esp as an experienced Collie owner of 40 years, but they never got back to me despite two requests, really disappointed in them, but their loss was my gain, and Corran was there when I needed help. ps Sam is now called Louis, not because Sam didn't suit him but because I have a cat called Samson 😻. Sam/Louis just wags his tail at 😸 and then moves on to the next box/bag/drawer to be investigated. 1 week and he already knows his commands, esp Leave it 😂, Sit, Lie down, Walk On, Here and Go Wee Sleep 😁 - and loves his new name!

About 20 years ago Corran Kennals gave us our first furry family member. Button was with us for over 15 awesome years. Honestly the smartest and best dog I've ever known.

Took a wee trip down to see if we could give a dog a new home. 30th December 2019, Dash became a member of our family. To everyone at Corran keep up the great work, thank you.

A man assisted me to meet two 6 month pups. The kennels were very clean & dogs looked well looked after. I was given time with each dog & allowed to take each for a walk. I decided on the whippet collie cross called Codi. The fee for her was £80 + the fee for the dog licence which I will receive in a few weeks. If I needed a dog warden to do a home check that could have been arranged. But as a dog owner my home didn't require that. Codi, now renamed as Maizie has settled into our home & lives very well & her cheeky personality is starting to shine through. The man's advice & knowledge of this dog was spot on. Timid but definitely wanting to please.
