We recently had our working Lab Leia in for a 3-day intensive training course with Gerard, to work on her lead walking and manners. The transformation in her in just 3 days has been amazing - she no longer lunges at every passing dog and can walk calmly beside us. Before seeing Gerard, we would have avoided most short lead walks, but we now feel so much more confident being able to walk her in busy places. What stood out the most was the extremely informative handover. Gerard made sure I was comfortable handling L...

Before seeing Gerard, we would have avoided most short lead walks, but we now feel so much more confident being able to walk her in busy places. What stood out the most was the extremely informative handover. Gerard made sure I was comfortable handling Leia myself, and answered my (many) questions - even advising on how we can improve her behaviour in the house and visiting the vet. Overall I would highly recommend Gerard!

Our dog was constantly aggressive towards one of the family, had bitten several times & was reactive to kids & some other dogs. Despite several years of training & working with a veterinarian behaviourist, there was no evidence of improvement. We were at the end of our tether. As a Hail Mary, a residential training course was suggested & Ger was highly recommended. Ger got back to us immediately after initial contact. A detailed consultation call followed & we agreed a six week residential training course. Thro...

Throughout the course, Ger kept us updated with regular check-ins & updates. We could already see a big change in our guy through his communications. When the dog was dropped back to us, Ger spent over five hours training with us in our home & out in world to give us the tools & knowledge to manage. We are continuing training as advised by Ger & we have a very different dog now - calmer, less reactive & most importantly, no aggression. Ger is a wizard - a dog whisperer & a dedicated & knowledgeable dog trainer. He obviously loves the animals he works with. We would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking to train their dog properly. If we could, we'd give GMC K9 ten out of five stars for giving us back our guy. Thank you Ger.

I found Gerard a few months ago after working with other trainers and seeing no progress in our recent rescue dogs behaviour. He pulled excessively on the lead, didn’t listen and was very reactive towards other dogs. We came to dread our daily walks. We were walking Frankie at unsocialable hours just to avoid seeing another dog. it was a nightmare for everyone involved! Just after our first session we were so relieved! Someone had finally explained our dogs behaviours and really detailed to us how we can begin to f...

We were walking Frankie at unsocialable hours just to avoid seeing another dog. it was a nightmare for everyone involved! Just after our first session we were so relieved! Someone had finally explained our dogs behaviours and really detailed to us how we can begin to fix it. Now a few sessions in Frankie is like a different dog. Can’t recommend Gerard enough! He’s extremely knowledgeable and we genuinely look forward to every session.

Gerard has been incredible with my dog, Turnip. We did the board and train program and already have seen a huge improvement in a very frightened, reactive dog. He’s helped us put proper structure and discipline in place, and the results speak for themselves. Gerard provided clear communication and realistically managed expectations throughout. Highly recommend.
