The team at House of Hydro have been absolutely lovely! We came to them after our dog was diagnosed with IVDD and suffered from paraparesis and they have been absolutely fantastic. The relationship they’ve built with our dog in such a short time is heart warming & we’re always excited to have a session.

A Tale About Worfie! 💙 So, it’s been almost a year here having moved from London & we’ve made some great progress which we have been able to sustain in our pain management journey. He loves these sessions but hoomans quickly noticed that as a show cocker he has a ‘Worf speed’, meaning a casual swim suited him fine lol. A Tale About Worfie! 💙 So, it’s been almost a year here having moved from London & we’ve made some great progress which we have been able to sustain in our pain management journey. In the beginning we started with the pool, it was familiar, warm, he had a buoyancy aid, & it was reward based. He loves these sessions but hoomans quickly noticed that as a show cocker he has a ‘Worf speed’, meaning a casual swim suited him fine lol. It was paired it with a quick PEMF session, a mat that he lays on with pulsed magnetic waves. Loves this one too. Sessions also include the Underwater treadmill - a new piece of equipment & for him, this one was hard. He bobbed & weaved at first , couldn’t walk in a straight line, back legs were stiff to lift up, adding pace meant a lot of effort & left him very tired. However, it gave us hoomans good visibility on how he moves in the water. We had some breakthroughs but not one of his favourites lol. Next was Physio! We’ve learnt simple daily exercises that we could do at home, give him treatos for & bond closer with him as we suppawt him. He likes these ones & often does a few without prompt & for free. Show cockers, like to show! 🐶 A few weeks ago we tried K-laser & this was a game changer! It targets the cells & promotes the body’s natural repair mechanisms. Despite being at daycare for a full week after, there was no muscle spasms, no spine wiggling, no stiffness, an even gait, square placement, he looked strong and Mama got teary - even did a big run for a whole minute with another floof, slower walks are comfortable & he has better paw placement. Recently he had another Underwater Treadmill day (again) & he smashed it. Higher lifts on the back paws, a bit of pace, good rotations, even strides, better placement on his paws, eureka! A BIG & heartfelt thank you to Charlotte, Millie & Natasha for their patience, being so welcoming, cheering him on, being kind but being so damn good at what they do, that he now has a higher quality of life! The care is on another level - we’re so grateful! #livingwithhipdysplasia

Today was the first time I said the word walkies to my 6 year old dog, Lola and she didn’t run away, she was actually crying with excitement. After only 9 sessions with you she is obviously more comfortable. With no hopping on her back legs through the whole walk today. Thank you for all your kindness and work you have done. Charlotte has been a massive part in Lola’s success. Thanks from a very happy dog owner and Lola.

Can’t recommend House of Hydro highly enough. Maverick my 3 legged cat first went for hydro therapy about 3 years ago, when he put on weight and hurt his only back leg. Maverick was a great little swimmer and once we got his weight down and leg muscles stronger, we moved to laser treatment to keep his joints healthy at the age of 12 he now has no problem keeping up with his 3 year old house mate. Natasha, Charlotte and the team have worked wonders with Maverick and he loves his visits.
