Barney our 8 yr old Yorkshire terrier has benefited immensely from his weekly swims at K9 following a cruciate ligament operation. All the staff are lovely and really friendly. I highly recommend this great facility especially given Barneys improvement. 🐾

Brought my dog here for the first time for a groom. Firstly the appointment stated it would be a half an hour slot so ended up turning up early to be told he’s not ready yet. I was told it would be at least an hour for him to be done. I came back half hour later to be told again he’s still not ready. 1 hour and 45 minutes later I received the call to say he was ready by the way I was parked outside that whole time. At first glance his cut was ok, he smelt lovely and he was very happy to see me. After getting home a...

After getting home and having some cuddles I noticed one of his eyes (outer pupil) was bloodshot. My first initial thought was maybe he got some shampoo in his eye that caused it to irritate. The next day I looked at his eye again and it was significantly worse! Could not see one bit of white around his pupil due to the bloodshot, his eye was regularly oozing. Obviously this caused me concern so I took him to the vets that day and upon examination the vet could see part of his eye lid was cut potentially from the scissors or blade. I was absolutely raging to find out this as I specifically asked the groomer how was he when i collected him and her words was he was fine but wasn’t a fan of the hair dryer. There was no mention of clipping his eye. It was evident this was done in that session. I’m absolutely raging Ā£50 down the drain and I’ve had to pay double that on a emergency vet appointment and eye drops for him. Would avoid grooming here, got nothing to say about the pool as never used it but as for the grooming it’s a BIGFAT NO! Not gone in demanding a refund would rather warn other people from using this so called ā€œluxury grooming salonā€. Also if anyone of the employees would like to question this review you have my numberšŸ‘

My 15 year old Lurcher has been coming for regular sessions, she only has 15 minutes assisted swims but it's enough to keep her active. The staff are lovely and were very helpful when I had to change her appointment recently. It's the best pool we've been to, some have been too small for a large dog but this one has lots of room to move about in.
